As the backbone of academic research, graduate students shoulder the important mission of scientific and technological innovation. All along, the School has focused on deepening the reform of postgraduate education mode and mechanism, promoting the high-quality development of postgraduate education, and improving the innovative ability of graduate students’ academic research.
Climb the peak of scientific research bravely and persist in scientific and technological innovation. In the past year, graduate students of our School published more than 30 papers in top international journals, one graduate student was awarded the Top Ten Academic Stars of Wuhan University Graduate Students, four graduate students won the first prize of Wuhan University Academic Innovation, 13 graduate students won national scholarships, and our School was awarded the Wuhan University Graduate Students Original Research Award ( two schools only). Two teams led by graduate students won the National Silver Award in the 7th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Provincial Gold Award in the 8th China International College Students' "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. And two teams led and participated by graduate students won the national first and second prizes in the 18th China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
Carrying forward the scientific spirit, generating innovative vitality. In order to showcase the outstanding scientific research achievements of graduate students in the School, create a strong atmosphere of advocating science, loving science and dedicating themselves to science, and stimulate the innovation vitality of graduate students, the School held theThird SIM Exhibition of Graduate Students' Academic Research Achievements,focusing on the 39 published scientific research papers, achievements and award-winning works of science and technology competition by graduate students in the academic year 2021-2022. The exhibition covered the basic theory of library science, information analysis, information system, information behavior, information service, digital publishing, e-commerce, digital economy, new media of government affairs, intelligent computing of cultural heritage, data management and other topics. The achievement were displayed in the form of exhibition boards for teachers and students to read, study and discuss.
On the occasion of the opening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, the School hopes to take thisExhibition of Graduate Students' Academic Research Achievementsas an opportunity to further broaden the horizons of teachers and students and enlighten their scientific research ideas.
